mother's day

for our first mother's day as a family, we went out to dinner with grammy and grampa hermann and their friends the rosenthals. it was such good food, we forgot to take any other pictures. but here is one of the three of us, i am wearing a dress that was mommy's when she was my age.

we're getting a lot of rain here in nashville this spring so i haven't been outside as much as i want to be. and yet, i'm still having fun as usual, grammy and grampa's friends mira and dane were here for a visit as you can see, they endured the storms to come have dinner with us.

eleven months

here are a few shots from my eleven month birthday. it's getting harder for mommy to capture me sitting still as i am almost always on the go now. i am crawling and pulling up, trying to stand solo and contemplating a step or two. i think it's a little nervewracking for the adults in my world, but i love love love it!

granny, pops and gram came to visit a few weeks ago... after much coaching from granny i started crawling the day after she left!

the koehlers came to town!

my cousins stacy, ashley and conrad came to visit last weekend, which was a blast! i soaked up having nonstop attention and playmates... we went to gaylord opryland because it was too rainy for the zoo and spent a lot of time eating and trying out all my toys. can't wait to see them again this summer! sometimes it's more fun to get in the wagon than to push it

now that i'm sleeping all night long in my own crib, i am even more giggly in the morning

and here is a rather long video of breakfast... it's worth it because i have some very interesting eating habits which involve using the kitchen table as a sort of resting area between my tray and my mouth. enjoy!

ten months and a visit from frankie and jim

here i am at ten months... one of these days mommy is going to figure out how to edit my pictures so we can zoom in and get rid of things like red-eye. in the meantime, i still think i'm pretty cute. frankie and jim stopped by for a visit and frankie was willing to hold me even though my face was covered in pasta

saturday swim class

i've started swimming at the y and it's really fun... i am not afraid of the water at all, and am quite an accomplished kicker. just have to work on my paddling and i'll be ready to head out on the high seas!
